2018/19 Bike for A Buck Roundup

19 Bike for A Buck Roundup

Well, that's a wrap on the 5th Annual Bike for a Buck Charity Sweepstakes Lot's of goodies to talk about on this one, but we're still exhausted from the party last night, so we'll keep this short and sweet!

First off, a big THANK YOU to Specialized for partnering with us to help raise funds to get more kids on bikes! The 2019 Specialized Stumpjumper is one of a kind, and the winner will get to work directly with Specialized to create their own expert build!

We're also incredible grateful to our friends at Oakley for donating sunglasses, SRAM for donating a couple of GX Eagle Drivetrains and a set of Guide brakes and then BIKE Mag donated Magazine subscriptions to a few lucky winners. Last but not least, we were so thankful to be host the Bike for a Buck Party at our favorite establishment in San Diego...Pizza Port - the best grub and grog in North County.  If you haven't been there - you should change that soon!

Without these sponsors, none of this would be possible, so again, THANK YOU!

At the end of the day, our little bike community raised $9,360 to support both NICA- the National Interscholastic Cycling Association and the Sustainable Trails Coalition. We hand selected both of these great organizations because we are extremely keen about doing our part to see the future of cycling head in the right direction. Thank you again to everyone for your support in making this fundraiser even bigger than last year.

Scroll down to see photos and video (courtesy of rider and photographer Liam Donohue) and watch as we announced the winners LIVE. If you're feeling impatient, skip to minute 15:30 to watch as we select and then call the Grand Prize winner!!

Til next time...keep sharing the TASCO stoke!
