Monday, June 24th, 2024, was a landmark day for cycling enthusiasts in North County, San Diego, as the new bike park in San Marcos officially opened its doors at Bradley Park. This cutting-edge bike park is set to become a premier destination for bikers of all ages and skill levels, offering an array of exciting features designed to enhance the local cycling experience. Nestled in the southwest corner of Bradley Park, the San Marcos Bike Park spans eight acres and boasts a pump track, perimeter trail, and jump lines tailored for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders.
The grand opening of this bike park in San Diego County represents the culmination of over a decade of dedicated advocacy by local bike groups and residents. The San Diego Mountain Biking Association (SDMBA) played a crucial role in bringing this project to life.
