Scout II MTB Trail Pants - Blue Spruce
Well, enough of you asked for a slimmed down update to the Scout pant, so here you go! Introducing the new Scout II MTB Trail Pant. We’ve taken what you loved from our first generation Scout pant, and updated it with your feedback. The new pant is more fitted in the upper leg area (great for those of us with normal size quads), and we’ve also shortened the inseam to keep them from bunching up on riders with a shorter inseam. We’ve removed the elastic cuff at the bottom opening, which creates a very clean looking pant. Lastly, the material has been updated with even more stretch in all the right places!

Adjustable waist allows for a custom fit. Material is breathable and stretches just right to move with you while you ride. The fit is not baggy, so you don't have to worry about getting caught on the saddle. 2 small pockets up front and to larger pockets towards the back that are plenty big for a phone. The pockets also double as air vents that actually work well. These pants are not cheap, because they're not CHEAP. The high quality and attention to what makes sense for riders is worth the cost to me. I also have the shorts. I highly recommend both. Good job TASCO!

The day after my order of Scout II pants arrived I went fat biking in 6 degrees with a windchill in the negatives. These pants with leg warmers underneath are by far the best combination I have ever used for riding in the cold and snow. Super comfy, I didn’t feel the cold, but I didn’t get wet and sweaty either. I’m stoked to know that I also have a great solution for the shoulder seasons (without no leg warmers) when they hit too. I should point out that I was concerned about the length of the pants since I’m 6’ 4 and have a 33 inch waist. The 32-34 size fits much better than I expected. They didn’t feel short when I pedaled, or pull up onto my calves.
United StatesI own many Tasco products, not here to review the quality if you own them, you know. I'm commenting about their customer service. I had an issue while ordering with sizing, caught it right at shipping, and reached out. Within an hour I had a response via email, and they swapped them for the correct size before they left the facility. Hands down the best customer service I've ever experienced.
United StatesPants fit true to size around waist but short on length. I wear a 34 x 34, and they fit like a 34 x 32. Not as tight around the ankle as I thought they would be from the images, but also not bad. Material is durable but also soft and comfortable. Besides the length, they are great pants.

Tasco makes quality gear, and these pants are no exception. The sizes do tend to run a bit small so keep that in mind. I would recommend these pants and the shorts as well, they are my go to when I ride. They have excellent customer service as well. Great company all around.
